Book Review: Midnight City by J. Barton Mitchell
Initial Thoughts:
Another fan freaking tastic book and another debut author!! I’ve felt so lucky with the ability to read the books I have lately. This is definitely no exception! Every word from beginning to end is absolute chaos reigned down upon human flesh. Scary, intriguing, awesome!
The Characters:
Our four main characters are Holt, Max, Mira and Zoey. They are forced together in a situation…♥ 04 years agoBook Blog Discussions - Visiting Blogs

This week’s pre-publication “can’t-wait-to-read” selection is: The Similars by Rebecca HanoverThis almost sound like it could edge over into dystopian, but it’s definitely in the Sci Fi territory.
Sci Fi and I are still in the beginning of our relationship.…

Horror Monday: Before I WakeI love, and I hope you agree, that this list has so many diversifying elements to it. I’m trying to stick with horror, and then there are movies like this one that while not being horrific, exactly, it’s the idea that makes this so interesting and yes, even terrifying.
What to expect:This was a bit spooky. There were a couple points where I was like, nope, honey…

Movie Review: Murder on the Orient Express
I have yet to read this book, and I’ve heard some iffy things about the movie. But, the hubster and I bought it because he has read it and I know I will sooner or later. We’ve had the movie for quite some time now, and finally decided to sit down and see if we enjoyed it.
My immediate response to Poirot was one of smiles and laughter. My first thought was that they missed the mark for…

Horror Mondays: The RiteRounding up the week of religious horror is The Rite. This is one of my favorite movies! It has some pretty scary moments, but I think it is more than just the scares behind it, it’s the entire plot and acting that make this one memorable for me. Plus, the ending is amazing.
What to expect:In this, the main character is an atheist. He was getting his degree in…
